Starts out without much flavor, but after a brief rest it gets better. Mild-medium in strength and always burns well. Bought this cigar in a sampler pack and I didn't enjoy it.. I am reminded of that experience every time I smoke a Man O’ War or a Man O’ War Virtue. The middle and end were very different as it smoothed out and tasted nuttier. A little light body for me. But I still prefer the regular MOW. I like skinnier ring sizes because the wrapper's flavor comes forward more, and the lonsdale are a nice moderately short smoke. Has been for years. These are Connecticuts that have a well-balanced character, like all the Man o' War cigars, and are not too aggressive. Nice cigar and good smoke. This time, a gentler handmade - Man O' War Virtue - and it is spectacular. The aged filler is smooth but flavorful. My favorite size is the Churchill. The CI description is (as usual) very accurate. Don't lite one of these babies up unless you've got an hour to enjoy it. Rolled just perfect easy to pull from and not too strong. Subtle hints of white pepper and sweetness round out the mix. I would highly recommend to anyone. I'm contrast with the Padilla Golden Bear, Virtue is ready for immediate enjoyment and needs no additional resting. The Man O War Virtue Churchill is a finely-crafted 7.0" x 52 stick that is stocked with an amazingly complex blend of Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. An Immediate Favorite!! The Virtue is the mildest of all Man O War cigars. Great taste, draw and construction. This was the case at first with the Virtue, however (just as another revierer mentioned) after the first inch the flavor really showed up. Try these and you will make it one of your favorites. These cigars are produced by AJ Fernandez who it turns out was a protege of Don Alejandro Robaina who recently passed away at the age of 91. I would say about 80 percent of the time they are excellent, about 15 percent of the time good to very good and about five percent they are about average.
