And I'm like, 'what?' What about black women? BROOKE GLADSTONE And being utterly blind to the even higher barriers faced by black women. In America, we could not create a memorial with no words. But Bryan Stevenson wasn't surprised. They have a statement of demands and then they issue a manifesto of their own internal rules.
