Purchased the Corsair HS70 SE's the other day, From the get go, I noticed a buzzing/weird electrical sound when no music was playing.

I can't speak for the older version of the Arctis 7's which are cheaper now, but these new 2019 ones are simply everything I wanted in a headset and more. The whole pitch is they're comfortable and great imaging but then comments form gamers saying the exact opposite.

My girlfriend got me the hs70SE and man i do not regret it! I play wow and league so gaming sound isn’t important at all.

I decided on wired Hyper X Cloud 2 instead.

Man everytime I'm fully convinced to fork out $200+ on the arctis 7 I see a comment like this and absolutely confirm my doubts about it's quality. Which should I get (or are there any other suggestions?)

The two headsets in that I mention in the title are the Corsair HS70 and the Steelseries Arctis 7. Steelseries arctic 7 vs Corsair hs70 wireless.

Don’t care much about that either, just straight listening to music/YouTube.

Interesting, I’ll look into it more. I'd go dedicated bluetooth headphones, but bluetooth on my PC is bad, and most of the USB bluetooth dongles aren't any better. share.

The sound is so balanced and natural. After hearing the Arctis 7's I'm convinced they are worth the entire $149.99 MSRP.

I believe they are going to be $99 as part of Best Buy's Black Friday deal (best buy rewards members get early deals), for the $99.99 price its an absolute steal! For the $100 wireless headset market, it seemed like the HS70 were the best for the money. This subreddit's purpose is to help people choose the best headset for their budget and that best suits their individual needs.
